there will be no double pt shows this yr. for Fig-8 and LM div.

For the figure 8's I think it works better without double points. More drivers won last year then we witness in quite some time. It will make the field tight till very end, even though the points were not determined till the last night of figure 8 action last year.

Most of the drivers at the January meetings agreed it was a good idea. It makes an abbreviated schedule easier to deal with if you don't lose A LOT of points because YOU had a bad night when it was double points. It makes sense.
