American Racer tire joins with N.E. Modified Series; Series website now updated

(3/13/2011) Hazleton, PA- N.E. Modified Series Director, Mike Odwazny, recently announced that American Racer tire would provide the official tire to the series. A durable 10-inch slick tire has been chosen, and will come in both left and right side sizes. Tires will be available at each event, and are expected to sell for around $125 per tire. American Racer has also agreed to reward the top series drivers with Jackets at year's end, along with contributing to a point fund, for every tire sold.

"We are looking forward to showcasing the American Racer product to the asphalt modified scene", stated Odwazny.

Additionally, the N.E. Modified Series has utilized Tyler Jett Motorsports Marketing to update their website at www.nemodified.com with all the latest series info, including rules and events. A date has been inked at Mountain Speedway for Sunday, August 28, which will see drivers compete over a 75-lap distance. Also on the racing card that day will be an open competition "Brad Kline Memorial" Street Stock 50 lap event, sponsored by the Crossroads Inn of Mountaintop, PA. Conversations between Odwazny and Wall Stadium promoter Cliff Krause, have also been positive and the two hope that a series date at the lightning fast 1/3-mile oval near New Jersey's popular shore area, can be secured in the very near future. Other venues are still being eyed, and Odwazny is confident that he can fulfill a 6-race schedule for 2011, as originally planned.

Any race teams, track operators, or fans who would like more info on the N.E. Modified Series are urged to visit the website at www.nemodified.com or by calling (570) 807-7168.

Doubtful, but not totally out of the question. It's tough for most tracks to accommodate two headliner series.
