What a find!! Thanks. The dubbed in tire squeal was a little much but a pretty good

production for the day. Richie was feuding with NASCAR that year that's why you

didn't see him in this. 500 laps for those old junkyard Mods had to be a grind.

I loved the pit board over the back window during the fueling and the small army

of guys with CO2 extingushers behind the wall. Not everything back in the day

was so great was it? 1970 was the about the year I started hanging around a corner

gas station that just happened to have a Modified serviced there. My first trip to

U-R Speedway had me hooked. I'll watch this vid a half dozen more times I'm sure.
