It is possible, but rare. I had it happen last season against my brother. We went head on and both cars died on the last hit of the demo. My car cut a battery cable, my brothers kinked a fuel line. His car would crank, mine wouldn't. Too bad I got dq'ed for an accidental hit.

As for Saturday night, I think it was a fitting end no matter how it went down. That's between them and them only. And yes it was a great demo one of the best in years.
