    Non -INEX for 2012

What are the benefits of running under NASCAR VS INEX ??
Are the purses bigger under NASCAR ??

The benefits?? Cromarty gets to sell more Nascar licenses.
More purse?? It was the lowest on the entire East Coast. Doubt they will add anything even though they have over 30 cars each night. Too cheap.
They have to mess with a good thing. Class was doing fine and these dopes needed to try this. Why??
They will screw this division up as they have many others.

no INEX and 8 races. How do you cut races from the largest division? Went to the nascar website for my membership app and there is no listing for legends guess im buying a charger one. Guess the track doesnt wanna pay the inex fee so we can get national points. What happened to added races and time trials now we have less races and more fees.

So there will be no INEX sanction ?? Probably not right, if the competitors do not have to be INEX licensed and then no INEX points either right??

"A NASCAR license for all Legend competitors and team members will be the only license needed if you are planning to drive solely at Riverhead and will in fact be mandatory. The INEX rules that Riverhead Raceway has followed over the years will still be implemented to their fullest in 2012. However, any Legend drivers competing for national Legend points will also have to purchase an INEX license"

George, Does not matter how many licenses you buy or what ones, if the track is not sanctioned by INEX then you cannot get National points for your races there. I think that is where there may be a problem with this, however if they intend to be INEX sanctioned then that resolves that issue.

Riverhead very rarely enforced the Inex Rules. There are about a half doz
en cars out there that week after week out perform every one. The legends are sopposed to be a spec class the cars should all be exactly the same with the exception of setup and driver. Unfortunatly now if you want to run up in that division you have to spend big money. I'm curiouse to see how strictly they enforce the rules this year.
