    Respectable drivers

Would like to shout out a big thank you to the drivers who were showing that they are a class act, and very respectable. Also showing that they are smart, and paying close attention to who the leader was, and who the top three were. These drivers knew that I was faster, and was giving me wave arounds. Really shows an impecable amount of class that these drivers have. If the leader, and the top three are so much faster then they were smart enough to get out of the way, dont hold up the leader, save their car and mine from possibly wrecking, and it's exactly what a class act driver displays. I would say there were at least 5 drivers acting this way, but I am sorry I could only remember a few which were the #310, #39, #15. These drivers shower allot of respect, and I will certainly remember this in the future to show them the respect that they deserve as well.
My car unfortunatley overheated and exploded the upper rad hose resulting in anitfreeze all over the track coming out of turn four. Sorry for whoever spun out and wrecked in the wetspot, but hey that is one obstacle that we all have to watch out for when we Enduro race -- fluids on the track. Remember when Flemington used to wet down the track with soapy water, whoa we needed to hold on, and hope for the best then. Congrats to the #88, he held on strong, and never gave up.

The NEETS main page has it listed as the "Frankenduro", the NEETS flier has it as "The Gobbler", and it was posted on mylaps as "GobbleEnduro.

I'm just glad that everyone got the date & time right.

Congrads to all who Raced and Atteded The Gobbler

I wanted to extend my congrads to all who raced @ The Gobbler yesterday.
If you were able to see the fans in the stands with their CHEERS and their home made signs cheering their favorite driver or drivers along, it was moments like this I love seeing thru my videocamera lens.

I hope everyone enjpyed themselves no matter how many laps they ran and I was glad once again to have captured it on film.

Have a Great Off Season and best of Luck in 2012.

    Vern is right

yes there was alot of respect out there yesterday. for the most part, but there was also alot of mirror driving going on too. They need to be removed from race cars !! PERIOD !! and yes that antifreeze in turn 4 was sick !!!!!!!! I was one of the cars in the big pile up , but luckily was able to finish with a tire going down and some bent up suspension parts..
All in all, that race was FUN !!!!!!
can't wait for the next one

Cool Mirror, Mirror on at Wall...........................

Disagree Mr. Dawgy! The proper use of mirrors allows you to exercise that respect with your fellow Neetsians.....................

I agree Uncle Petey. I gave respect to as many cars as I could. It would not have been possible without the mirror. They are a useful tool when used properly. As Vern pointed out it makes for safer and less expensive racing by helping avoid wrecks. Bill Stockert 310.

    Good fun

Even if I brought 3 yr old tires to the track. They where the only over 300 tread wear tires I had which I think was a rule that day? Definitly noticed a major difference between them and the better ones I had. Got a sick shot of Uncle Pete getting hammered side to side in turn on with my in car cam and another of the 55 car running me in the wall to finish my day. Previousaly I bounced off the wall and hit the 55. I think he thought I did it on purpose and seeked revenge. Unless he just got loose like I did? Ohwell thats enduro racing. Still not bad laps for a 4cyl egg beater. Congrats to the winners
