Kyle Larson has just won the Pete Orr Memorial 100 race at New Smyrna Speedway after passing Ben Kennedy on the last lap. Ben Kennedy had led every lap in the race except the lap that meant the most, the last lap!

On lap 98 car #20 for Anthony Sergi spun right in front of the leaders in turn four bringing out a caution.
When the checkered flags flew to restart the race on lap 98, Larson spun his tires getting a little sideways on the track. Cars backed up and three cars that were running in the top five were taken out of the race after tangling and spinning in turn two.

On the second race restart Larson got a good jump and passed Kennedy for the lead.
This was Larson's first ever time in a stock type car. Larson is a a sixteen year old Outlaw Karts, Midget Track Champion.
