This past Wednesday a great night was had at TJ Halpin's. We had a bunch of people down for the Riverhead Rewind. Id like to say thanks to all the folks that did show up. It was great to see as always the first guy to arrive Billy Wood make a regular appearance as did David Roys and Scott Lehmann. The Youngs were on hand, boy would I love to see some full blown Modifieds hit their Bronson Speedway in the winter. Chris Jr. is a nice young man who has a very bright future in this game. John and Necole Fortin made the trip as always greta to see them in attendance and get to talk a lot of old times and great races. Want to have a lot of fun?? Talk to John about his Figure 8 days as he was one of the best. Arne and Cindy Pedersen came in for some dinner and to watch Arne's victory. Last but not least the life of the party showed up Mr. & Mrs. John Beatty Sr. came down. John promises a huge bash at the restaurant for his son John Jr's win later in the season. Thanks a gain to everyone for coming down.

On tap we have week #3 taking down the win in the Blunderbust division was #22 Scott Malzewski, In the Chargers with his 1st win of 2011 was the 81 of Chris Turbush. The 2011 Late Model Champion car #00 Mike Bologna took down his 1st win of the season. Then its one of the greta races of 2011 the NASCAR Hall of Fame 100 with winner Timmy Solomito battleing it out with Justin Bonsignoe for the win, the 98x of Zane Ziner would come home 3rd, Howie Brode was 4th and John Fortin was 5th. All the action starts at 7:00 Wednesday night. Hope to see you.

Not a lot of people at the Rewind last week but a great week none the less. The Solomitos stopped by to cheer on Timmy as he and Justin had one of the best Modified races I've seen at Riverhead in years. It was great to just listen to the two of them talk about what there cars were doing at the time. Timmy was holding on and Justin didnt want to wreck him. Just great commentary back and forth with the two young drivers. This Wednesday night should be a good one as well. . At 7pm it's Riverhead Rewind, come check out the races from the summer. This weeks winners are Timmy Solomito in the Legends, Sean Patrick in the Late Models, The Super Pro Trucks were dominated by 1 team as Christopher Turbush took down the win followed by team owner Dave Koeing, and third was the 88 of Roger Turbush. Then taking down the win in the Modifieds was Chris Young, it was his first win of the season. Winners get dinner on us, so come on down.

Great night last night for the Rewind. A big thank you goes out to our #1 supporter who never misses a week, yet I forgot to mention him last week, Mr. Billy Wood. The Youngs were also on hand for Chris' big win and it was great to see that CJ Lehmann and Christi Jo Mortimer were able to make it out this week. I'm going to try and do this every Thursday morning to give some advanced notice. WE WILL NOT HAVE THE REWIND NEXT WEEK DUE TO THE THANKSGIVING EVE FESTIVITIES GOING ON AT TJ HALPINS, actually Larry LaFontaines brother Guy's band will be playing that night. Unlike last year we will not push dates back we will just double them up this year.

So on Wednesday November 30th we will be showing the Rewinds from June 4th and June 18th. On June 4th taking down his 1st win of the season in the Legend division it was car # 53 of Kevin Nowak. In his 1st run in 2011 in for the win in the Charger division with a great run was car #36 of Eric Lutz. In the Figure 8's Arne Pedersen in car #34 would take down win #2 en route to his 2011 Championship. In the Modifieds coming across the line first in the John Redding owned #41 it was Dave Brigati.

When that video is complete we will be putting in video #2 from June the 18th. Taking down his 1st career win in car #71 it was Kyle Ellwood. In a Time Trial Double Point Feature Event for the Blunderbusts it was the #4 of Tom Pickerell. In the Charger division it was ole #81 Chris Turbush in for the win again on his march to the 2011 Charger Championship. In the Figure 8's taking down his 1st win of the year it was the #14 of Tommy Ferrara. In the Modifieds with a great win his 1st enroute to the 2011 Championship it was the M3 Technologies #51 of Justin Bonsignore.

TJ Halpins will be buying a lot of dinner on November 30th as we present 9 winners to you starting at 7:00. Again we'll be showing two weeks worth of racing on November 30th. There will be no show on November 23rd. Eveyone have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.

Great week at the Rewind last week. Want to say thanks to my main stays, CJ Lehmann and Christi-Jo Mortimer for coming out. Great to have Kyle Elwood stop by to witness his 1st win with some friends, and a guy who's becoming a regular Justin Bonsignore was in attendance again with a few friends to catch one of his wins of 2011.

This week is a big one as well. We'll be showing the racing events from June 25th and what a night that was. In the Blunderbust for the 1st time in many years heading to Victory Lane was car #27 of Krazy Ed Mistretta, really hope Eddie can make the trip this week. In the Legends taking down the win was the Ray the Plumber #49 of Chris Young Jr. In the trucks for his 1st win of the season it was the #99 of Brian McElearney. The Late Model winner had a heck of a year and taking down his 1st win of 2011 was J-Rod Jarrod Hayes. In the Modifieds it was one of the veterans taking down the popular win in the Eastport Feeds #15 Wayne Anderson. Remember all winners eat for free, come on down the Action starts at 7:00.

Really good turn out for the Rewind last week. Big thanks to the Young family for the continued support. Justin Bonsignore made the trip again, he's becoming a regular over at TJ Halpin's. J-Rod Jarrod Hayes and wife Melissa, came down with a group to hang for his 1st win of the season. Krazy Ed Mistretta made the trip all the way from New Hyde Park. It was a great night for all.

This coming Wednesday night in the Blunderbusts in a very emotional win it's Paul Parisi taking down the win for his wife Tracy. It's just fitting we'll be watching this one right around Christmas time, which was her favorite holiday. In the Figure 8's the team cars finished 1st and 2nd with Tom Ferrar taking down the win and Mike Mujsce finishing 2nd. On his comback tour to Riverhead Raceway Radiant Ray Minieri would take down his 1st win of the 2011 campaing. In for the 1st win of his career at Riverhead in the Modifieds it was Shawn Solomito taking down the double point Modified Feature win.

Come on down Wednesday night and check us out, Action starts at 7:00. Hope to see you.

Ahhhh it was great to be back at it with the Rewind. The Solomitos came out in bunches great to see Shawn and Kristy Solomito on hand for Shawn's win. Linda and Jerry Solomito made it ou as well. They always support this thing. Butch Capuano even made a guest appearance. Great to see Butchie and talk old times. Kris and Kathleen Holmberg came out in support of Shawn as well. I see Kris and Jerry Solomito together and I think Mini-Modifieds. Last but never least my 2011-2012 main stay The Champ Justin Bonsignore came down had a steak and a few laughs. Thanks for coming down guys and gals. The Alter Boy Tommy Ferrara and his wife Jen were in, Jen doesn't come to see Tommy win, she comes for the Chicken Fingers. I just want to thank everyone who supports this thing it is a lot of fun to do and we want to keep it rolling.

This week on Wednesday night at TJ Halpins we have a big one. Taking down the win in the Super Pro Trucks it was that red #81 again with Chris Turbush behind the wheel. In the Blunderbusts this guy finally caught a break to nail down his 1st win of 2011 car#19 of Rob Bader. In the Chargers this was my favorite race and win of the year in Car #1 it was CJ Lehmann. In the Figure 8's doing a fine job once again in car #34 it was Arne Pedersen. The highlight of the night was the 77 lap Baldwin/Evans/Jarzombek Memorial which was won by the TS Haulers #6 of Ronnie Silk. It should be a great night racing starts around 7pm.

Great night last Wednesday for the Rewind. It was great to see Roger Turbush finally make the trip down, as he brought Stephanie Brigati with him, Buddy Turbush was in the house and even Kevin Orlando stopped by. Thanks for coming gang. Another one of my regular couples stopped by and had some dinner with Andy Barker, thanks to CJ Lehmann and Christi-Jo Mortimer for always coming down to support what we do. Justin Bonsignore was in attendance yet again as he took down the win for the 2nd week in a row. Great to see Justin's crew cheif Aaron Clifford had some time to stop down and catch the action. Justin's car owners Ken and Janine Massa came down but they didn't watch much racing but boy do they love that Quick Draw, thanks guys for the support.

This Wednesday Night we're going to do it all again. Taking down the win in the Legend feature yet again in car #49 The Young One, Chris Young. In the Blunderbust division it would be The Wild Child Tommy Walkowiak in the #00 taking down the win. In for the win in the Super Pro Trucks for the 2nd week in a row it was the 88 of Roger Turbush. Taking down the win in the Figure 8's for the first time in a long time was the #28 of Roger Maynor. In the Modifieds this should be a popular win in car #8x it was Eddie Brunnhoelzl III. So come on down for a great night of racing action, all the racing starts around 7pm. We hope to see you.

One of the Young Lions in the Blunderbust division took down his 1st win of his career driving car #49 it was Jack Handley Jr. In the Super Pro Trucks not only was this driver getting their 1st win but this driver was doing it for all the ladies. I was there and remember this I was so happy to see Erin Dumicich take down her long overdue 1st career victory. In the Chargers in for his 2nd win in 2010 in car #43 it was the Radient One Ray Minieri. Taking down the win in the Modified feature for the 2nd week in a row in car #84 it was John Fortin. This should be a fun one this week. Remember all winners we'll buy you a free dinner for getting your win, so come on down to TJ Halpins on Wednesday Night at 7:00 pm.
