yes it does, but don't recommend doing that if your fuel cell is also there. Best place in mount on floor behind drivers seat

Bad location for a battery for a car going in circles. If you move the battery from under the hood you MUST have a master cut off switch. phil
Thanks guys. It's one of the Ott's old #213 Buick Century. The wife bought it to race the ladies races. It's in a welded down battery box in the trunk and has a kill switch by the seat. I'm assuming it doesn't need a fuel cell since the gas tank is in front of the axle. I guess we should move it behind the seat to be safe, huh?
