Only two days left to book your Red Roof Inn New London at the group discount. Come up for the Sept 13 weekend. Start off with the http://www.thompsonspeedway.com/…/st...ad-race-chall… on Friday and early Saturday. Then head to The New London-Waterford Speedbowl Saturday evening Sept 12 ( spend the night at the Red Roof Inn ) and spend Sunday,Sept 13 watching the Dunleavy Truck & Trailer Repair 100 at the Speedbowl. Who will take home the $5000 plus win, and who will take home the Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists NorthEast Race Cars Tri Track Open Modified Series championship? Use code B145NLWSB1 when you call 1 800 THE ROOF to get the discount, but you MUST make the reservation by Wednesday, Aug 12 6:00 pm.

There will be a Red Roof bonus to a team that books a room by Aug 12 ( and has the best finish of those teams)

To any teams planning on going to the Speedbowl - Make sure you contact Dan at Hoosier Tire East to pre order tires. Do it ASAP to make sure you get the tires you want.

I am still waiting on the official schedule but looks like there will be optional practice for the modifieds both Saturday afternoon and evening of the 12th. Then again, from 12 to 1250 on Sunday. Heats should go green either at 1:00 or most likely 1:30 . We are planning on the feature race to go green by 4:30.

For those coming up to watch the races from Long Island, the Cross Sound Ferry runs hourly in the morning on Sunday. Also , there are boats returning in the evening hourly at 6. 7 , 7:30, 8 and 8:45.

Sea jet runs at 8 and 10 in the morning and returns at 7pm at night.

Leave your car parked in Orient and get a cab for about $20 in New London.

Dennis Girardin has just announce that Broad Brook Heating and Cooling will put up an extra $500 to either Chris Pasteryak, Matt Hirschman, or Richard Savary if they should win this coming Sept 13 race

Each of those drivers has won a Tri Track race this year already, and this extra bonus could make another victory even sweeter.
