This Saturday, April 15th, Monadnock Speedway will open the gates to kick off the 2017 season with the annual test and tune session. The practice is open to all speedway's weekly divisions plus any touring series that will compete at the track during the year. "ACT" type Late Model competitors planning to attend this Saturday's test and tune for the May 13th event are welcome as American Racer will be present to supply the tires. Competitors from the weekly divisions will also be able purchase tires, process NASCAR licenses, pass in registrations and purchase season passes from speedway staff located in the beer garden area from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The test and tune session will be from Noon - 5:00pm. General admission is free and the concessions and beer garden will be open. Pit Gates open at 10:00 am.

On Saturday, April 22nd, Monadnock Speedway will host the traditional Spring Dash featuring a 125 Lap Modified Touring Series special event along with all the speedway's weekly divisions; Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Thunder Stocks, Lightning Stocks and Young Guns. The special event is presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts. The season opener will start at 5pm with the main gate opening at 1pm for general admission.

The management at Monadnock Speedway is very excited about the season long events planned this year. They are working on new ventures to bring the fans a variety of racing action including a six race series for "ACT" type Late Model cars starting on May 13th. The speedway encourages all "ACT" type Late Model competitors to pre-register prior to the May 13th event. Other touring series that will visit the high banks will be NEMA, Pro 4 Modifieds, Legends, Bandaleros, Classic Lites and NE Champ Karts.
