MODIFIED 40 LAPPER, TWO SPORTSMAN AND LEGEND MAINS AT WALL STADIUM THIS SATURDAY (JULY 22)


Auto racing fans have a big night of action set for this Saturday (July 22) at Wall Stadium Speedway with a 40 lap main event for the Freehold Ford Modifieds and two Snap On Sportsman and Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars feature races during “Christmas in July” action.

Spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m., with a Sportsman 25-lapper rain postponed on June 17 slated for 5:45 p.m. followed by qualifying. Scheduled main event action will follow at around 7:00 p.m. This “Christmas in July” themed event will feature prizes for fans given away during the evening’s activities.

On the famous high-banked third mile paved oval the Modifieds will battle in a 40-lap main event. Defending and two-time champion and recent feature winner Steven Reed of Jackson will lead the way along with multi-time feature winner Jimmy Blewett of Howell and 2017 main event winner Andrew Krause of Holmdel.

The Green Flag Driving Experience Legend Cars are set for two 25-lap main events, the Sportsman cars are ready for their regularly scheduled 25-lapper and the Surfside Collision 4 Cylinder Stocks will also be battle in a 25-lap main event.

Saturday’s schedule will see the competitor pit area open at 1:00 p.m. Regular practice will start at 3:00 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 5:00 p.m. The rain postponed Sportsman 25-lapper and qualifying will then begin at 5:45 p.m. and scheduled feature race action for all divisions is slated for 7:00 p.m.
