    Race #12 Results

    Well - that was interesting.

Stevie, who had been leading, got the lowest score with 49 points. Crazily that was within 4 points of the high score (53). All of us scored in there. That will happen with a short field (only 15 cars total).

Also amusing is that every one of us got some amount of pole points.

Those pole points tightened things up, as the top 3 are separated by 6 points.

The funny part with the late entry he didn't get a perfect score, maybe just trying to sneak in an entry to stay near the top? Or computer Problems?

    Race #13 - Oswego

The Bonsignore wreck affected all of us roughly equally. Those of us who had another (Lutz) fall out took the brunt of the impact and also affected the standard deviation. Everyone else scored between 40 and 44.

Unfortunately one of those was our prior 2nd place in the standings RBH. The Lutz flub dropped him from 2nd to 4th and became the drop for the season.

Moa is comfortably out front, managing tires with a few races to go.

Race #14 - Monad Part Deux

This race more reverted to normal. The standard deviation was minimal, with the highest score being 9 points more than the lowest.

Bobgabes was the highest with 48. Virtually all the difference was where you had JB or Silk. If you had JB winning you got a "bonus" with the 15. If you had Silk winning you lost that bonus.

All the "extras" (Rameau, Nocella, Rypkema, Johnson, etc.) that were used to fill out the predictions all finished near each other so there wasn't a whole lot of movement in that regard.

Top of the heap is still Moa, who gained one point on 2nd. See you this Saturday...again...three weeks in a row is a lot for the organizer.

    Race #15 - Riverhead

Wasn't much of one, but our leader did encounter a hiccup on the east end of Long Island.

Moa was the only participant to not clear the 40 point threshold for the week. Most of us were in the low 40's, so it wasn't significant ground made up but it at least made it closer.

The wild card remaining is likely this weekend - with 39 cars on the entry list. I expect some variety in picks (and results).

    Race #16 Results

Surprised, given the large field, that our standard deviation was only 4.8.

Mod11 and RBH both scored the high with 47. This, coupled with another hiccup from Moa, leaves us with a tie atop the leaderboard.

That last lap "incident" did adjust the results some. Would have been interesting to see if we had run the results on lap 149.

Here's to hoping Thompson has a big field too...only a week till that race day!

    Race #17 - Thompson2

    Let's see -

    qualifying rained out.
Bonsignore has a late restart issue.
Berndt gets taken out while running well.
    RBH doesn't submit.

All of those created some chaos within the pool. It really created all of the spread that was seen, which admittedly was less than I thought.

Mod11 got the highest total for the week, and used it to leapfrog into the lead. It is (virtually) a 2 horse race with Moa the other with a reasonable chance to take the season crown. It's now closer than the actual points.
