I hate to use the 'r' word, but does anyone know if there's a rain date, (Sunday?) in the event the forecast will be correct for Saturday? TheY're calling for rain & wind all day Saturday.

There are no rain dates for practices.. plus they will not be able to have a rain date on Sunday as go karts are running at Riverhead this Sunday.

The rain date is called opening night.

My guess is that if it does get rained out Saturday, then on opening night they will let the cars out on the track earlier so they can get some of the practice that they missed.

I know it's very early, but as of right now they are calling for light rain on opening night also.
