Not definite on this but I believe he is originally from CT and did some racing back at Litle T and places like that in 1/4 midgets - so there is a local NE connection ! However, he moved to Georgia and is making his name in USAR HPC now, but remember Jeff Gordon moved from California to Indiana to chase his dreams. So I can't blame Joey for moving where he felt his career would progress the best.
