I have heard nothing from the Funkmaster folks, all I heard its still being worked on.

I disagree with you Jones,

I thought it was an awesome race and anyone who saw it in person would agree.

The TV show did not do it justice, but it's an interesting concept and despite their downfalls, many want to come back to it.

I believe what Jones was referring to was the fact we had heard that some drivers it took a while for them to get paid and if anyone old enough to remember the last "Gerber" sponsored Race of Champions at Flemington(sorry that leaves you out JA ) many had one hell of a time getting paid if they ever did get paid

Gotcha allhailunc. Makes sense now... The promoters of the race definitely have the right intentions but as far as being the typical race sanctioning organization, it's far from it and I think the way they did payout was typical by their standards, but not the racing community standards.
