    Wheel weights

From what I heard that is true, when they get ripped off your wheel they become a bullet, and no one knows where it's going to go.

time for me to jump in with my usual novice questions

So is there some alternative that y'all use to balance the tires? Or do you just run with them out of balance? And if so, does that shake your fillings out or is it no big deal at our speeds? (Just wondering if I need to duct tape my fillings in next time.)

    No need to worry

We have never run wheel weights on any of our cars and as long as the rim is straight, we have not had problems. In a typical endoro, your wheels vibrating are not your biggest concern.

    Thanks Pat

To show my appreciation for your response, in the future I will try not to run into (or was it over ?) any of your team cars like I did in the turn 2 wreck this past weekend! (I sure hope it makes the video; I'm curious how far off the ground I was when I climbed his left front!)

    Thanks again.

I too have never used wheel weights. and totally agree it's about time they are not allowed!!!!! I've voiced my concern on this before, remember its all about SAFETY !!! drivers and fans alike. Straight wheels and decent tires are all you need !!!!!!!

    No problem

I believe that you ran into Pete anyway... Do not worry, nobody has ever been able to tell the difference.

In this sport, there are a ton of nice people, so never hesitate to ask a question if you have one, it is the only way to learn. We are all out there to have fun and safety can NEVER be overlooked.
