    Windsheild

My brother wants to put together a car for the stock 8's, but it has a cracked windsheild. how picky are the officials going to be about that?

    depends where & how bad

I've noticed if it's cracked in front of the driver, they tend to be more concerned. I've had aN up/down crack on the passENGER side for 2 yrs & no comments been made. But, I have heard them bust chops for driver side cracks, and obviously, for numerous cracks.

It's for your best interest to go with Lexan. It is inexpensive, anD within two hours, you can have that glass out and with 2 dozen pop rivets and two metal straps, your Lexan could be in.

The stock windshields weigh about 40 or 50 pounds..The lexan windshield will lighten the car too..

    more benefits

Oval speed has them, approx $90 for a sheet. Best part is you can remove it and keep re-using it.
