How is this going to happen when Tioga is running a non touring SST race that same day? Are there that many SST mods to go around in is class? Thanks Mike. Plus $1,200 to win, plus custom made bar, PLUS A STARTING SPOT AT THE SST/SK NORTH SOUTH RACE IN CONCORDE.

i have a ? hopefully someone can help me with. I was wondering what exactly an sst modified is? and if they have ever been to mountain before?
A quick answer in a nutshell is; The same exact car as a Mod but with smaller tires and smaller motor. They are a touring division with a good car count and are pretty much almost as fast. From an average fans point of view, same car.
This will be the first visit to Mountain.

Does anyone know how many laps there are for the sst mod tour race at mt. speedway friday night? also, how many laps for the street stock qualifier? bye. jeff

The SST race is 75 laps...not sure about the SS.
