I could not think of a better ending to special night. I couldn't pick a better person to win a race that meant so much. Wayne is the leader of the Long Island Gang now with the passing of Tommy and deserved this win.

C.J. Will Allways Be The Leader!!
No Disrespect To Tommy!!
And they say he's washed up ?
I have to agree with you Walt. It was a very exciting race to watch. Wayne was all over him and waited for his chance and took it beautifully. Great win and great job by the 15 team!
I was sitting in my folding chair by the turn four fence and almost fell out of my chair when Wayne passed John who by the way ran a nice race. I dont think I ever cheered so loud in my life lol.

What a driver....and just as importantly.....what a crew!
Wayne...... and Mr. Kenny Lechner, Steve, Marty, Doug, Phil, Michael, Charlie, Bill, Jay, Matt, Vinny, Paulie, Tony, Chris, Blake, Laurie and Joette! (And those others of you who help also)
Most of you were with Wayne in the golden years including the '94 Tour Championship season. As he retired for a bit, you moved on and helped the 84's effort. We can all see Mr. Fortin's success. Over the past few seasons you've come back to the 15, and week after week, you've teased me by saying "just wait a few weeks until we get it dialed in".
Dang......I think you got 'it' dialed in. Way to go guys and gals!
Was for the 15 all the way, proud to live in the same town as he. But Man-o-Man, didn't see no dust on the rust on the 84.
Congrats To Wayne On A Job Well Done. TB Was Watching From Above And I Know He Was Happy You Won .
Way to go Wayne ! Made my night !
