    Troyer race shop has fire.

From reports and from one of the pictures, the race shop looks totally destroyed. This is a shame and big hit on a lot of modified teams.

Many teams on the Whelen tour use Troyer chassis and many local northeast drivers use them also!

I read this on MMS Message board and link to the site.

It came at a great shock to me when I heard about the fire. I could not believe what I was hearing, so I called and my fears were confirmed. It seems that the fire was due to power surges in the area. From the looks of it, it looks like all is lost. Not really what I had in mind when I sent my car there last week for repairs. They will be up and running soon, I'm sure to continue to build some of the best modifieds in the Northeast.

Monday they will go in to see what's left, but they said anything that was in the chassis shop is a total loss. I'm pretty much waiting on them.

Well the anwser is in. My car survived the fire, along with my trailer. Seems my car was in a storage shed in the back and my trailer got moved the night before. I was starting to think the car was possessed with the season I had, but then again, the whole place goes up and my stuff is untouched.

Go get 'em in '06 bud!

My money is on you and that "Drinking Team" (errr, I mean race team) over at SAP Enterprises every week!

Glenn Tyler lost his car in that fire, but Troyer is replacing it for him...

WJ, this was a brand new car that Glenn had being built, it was on it's way to the body shop at Troyer. So he'll still get a new car out of it just a few weeks later than expected.
There's nothing like an open wheel modified

Stickey situation Troyer is in. Say your old car got destroyed? A.Would they build you a new one? B.Tell you sorry? C.Give you an insurance check for the amount of your loss, which may not be all that much?
