Definitely NOT a legal Blunderbust car...it's not even one of the approved car models. Any combination of parts like that (on an "eligible competing model," of course) could cause you some problems in a Blunderbust (i.e., is the car actually a Mercury or a Ford? You would have to specify one and make sure that your wheelbase, body, etc., are what they should be. According to the Blunderbust rules, most parts must be factory stock for year, make, and model, so you could have a hard time with a Ford Mustang motor, particularly if the car is actually run as a Mercury Montego...did either of the cars that it is advertised as come stock with a 302?) Obviously, none of this really matters in terms of a Blunderbust car, since you can't run that type of car anyway, but it's just something for you to keep in mind if you're seriously looking for something (particularly if you're considering buying something that was built to run at another track under different rules, since you won't find any other track that has a "Blunderbust" class...you would have to really go through the rules to know what you're getting yourself into and what you would have to change). For example, such things as the brake bias and jacking bolts would cause you a problem, at least in a Blunderbust car.

The car appears to have too many bars going forward and rearward of the main cage to be considered for a Grand car. Tracy is right about it not being a approved model for BB.
Sorry if this busts your bubble.

It won't fit as a charger car either as they don't allow automatic transmissions. At it's current price it's almost a good parts car.

Thanks for your help guys. I was just curious. I always browse e-bay to see if there are any riverhead legal cars on there. Believe it or not there is some good stuff on there sometimes for cheap. Thanks a lot, though.

I agree, art, except that it's got more than five days left. It's always a crapshoot with eBay...the price could jump between now and then if a few people have some real interest. Then factor in time, fuel, tolls, etc. to go to Massachusetts and get it...
