    Bummer...

Heavy rain....bolts of lightning, I high-tailed it out of there, or should I say waddled? I did not get to see the 4-cylinders race. I was disappointed when I learned that the field was going to be split due to transponder issues. Any idea as to why "more than a handful" were not cooperating?

Every time I have showed up, there has always been a problem with that. Paying that much money to race and have your laps cut isn't too much fun. I understand sometimes there are issues that are out of anyones control, but this has happened before. What about investing in a flop clock for a backup plan? It says (or said) in the rules that this would be used if there was a problem with the transponders. Also, each team had to bring someone that would be available to score if this happened. Just wondering?

Just wondering but weren't the transponders used the night before for Mountain's regular show, during the 6/8's, and the trucks?

I really hope they give a full run down of the trux race. It was my first race there and I want to know where I finished. After all, isn't that why we pay for the 10 dollar transponder? I mean the price isn't unreasonable or anything, it's just I'm curious to know where I finished.
