Great Rewind last week. Rob Bader and Frank Scimeca finally made their 1st appearence of the season. CJ Lehmann and Christi-Jo Mortimer had to be on hand for this one as CJ took down the win in the Chargers. CJ's Dad Scott was on hand as was my brother Timmy and his sons Connor and Kyle. Arne Pedersen came down with the family and the pit crew to watch another #34 Victory. David Roys and Jackie came down on behalf of Ronnie Silk, Eddie and Connie Partridge to take in Silks Victory in the Baldwin/Evans/Jarzombek 77. A really great night and I thank everyone who came out.

Tonight at TJ Halpins the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour rolls into town. Come on down and check out Justin Bonsignore 1st win in the Series. It was a great night, I can't wait to see it again. In the Blunderbust taking down the win en route to his season ending Championship it was Tommy Walkowiak. The man with the plan again on this night in the Chargers was the ole #81 another great run for Christopher Turbush as he continued to make his way towards the 2011 Champioship. Come on down check out Justin's first Tour win, it should be a blast. Action starts at 7:00. Remember we buy dinner for the winners.

A little quiet last week for the Rewind but lets see what this week brings. A big thank you to the Bonsignores for coming down and for David Roys for stopping bye.

This week on Riverhead Raceway Rewind taking down the win in the Super Pro Trucks after a rough start to the season it was Truck #88 of Roger Turbush. In the Legend cars in for the win was 2010 Champ car #53 of Kevin Nowak. The Late Models had a very competitive week and taking down his 2nd win of the year it would be Shawn Patrick. This guy just continued his 2011 hot streak rolling into Victory Lane 2 weeks in a row in Car #51 it was 2011 Modified Champ Justin Bonsignore. Remember all winners get dinner on us. Action starts at 7pm. Come on down.

Great night last Wednesday for the Rewind. It was great to see Roger Turbush finally make the trip down, as he brought Stephanie Brigati with him, Buddy Turbush was in the house and even Kevin Orlando stopped by. Thanks for coming gang. Another one of my regular couples stopped by and had some dinner with Andy Barker, thanks to CJ Lehmann and Christi-Jo Mortimer for always coming down to support what we do. Justin Bonsignore was in attendance yet again as he took down the win for the 2nd week in a row. Great to see Justin's crew cheif Aaron Clifford had some time to stop down and catch the action. Justin's car owners Ken and Janine Massa came down but they didn't watch much racing but boy do they love that Quick Draw, thanks guys for the support.

This Wednesday Night we're going to do it all again. Taking down the win in the Legend feature yet again in car #49 The Young One, Chris Young. In the Blunderbust division it would be The Wild Child Tommy Walkowiak in the #00 taking down the win. In for the win in the Super Pro Trucks for the 2nd week in a row it was the 88 of Roger Turbush. Taking down the win in the Figure 8's for the first time in a long time was the #28 of Roger Maynor. In the Modifieds this should be a popular win in car #8x it was Eddie Brunnhoelzl III. So come on down for a great night of racing action, all the racing starts around 7pm. We hope to see you.

Riverhead Rewind this week we have some 1st time winners and some Multi-time winners. One of the Young Lions in the Blunderbust division took down his 1st win of his career driving car #49 it was Jack Handley Jr. In the Super Pro Trucks not only was this driver getting their 1st win but this driver was doing it for all the ladies. I was there and remember this I was so happy to see Erin Dumicich take down her long overdue 1st career victory. In the Chargers in for his 2nd win in 2010 in car #43 it was the Radient One Ray Minieri. Taking down the win in the Modified feature for the 2nd week in a row in car #84 it was John Fortin. This should be a fun one this week. Remember all winners we'll buy you a free dinner for getting your win, so come on down to TJ Halpins on Wednesday Night at 7:00 pm.

Due to Speedweeks and so many people going down South to race or see the races we have decided to postpone Riverhead Rewind until March 7th. We will only have two more Rewind Nights left it'll be March 7th and March 14th. On March 7th it will be a huge night. It's the last night of the year for the Modifieds and we ran 7 divisions that night. Should be a blast.

Speedweeks is over and Riverhead Rewind is finishing up. We have two weeks remaining at TJ Halpins. The 1st week is a big one. It's the final night of Modified competition at the the raceway, we also crown 2 champions. The week we are showing are the races from Sept. 10th. Taking down the win in the Blunderbust feature was Slick Pick Tom Pickerell in the 4 car. What a way to set up the Championship in the Chargers, Chris McGuire in the 89x would win the Charger race on this night to set up a great points race to determine the Charger Champion next week. Tommy Ferrara would take down the win in the Figure 8's as he continued to roll through his career year. In the Super Pro Trucks the hottest guy the 2nd half of the year would win again, Roger Turbush in the #88 would roll into Victory Lane once again. In the Legends taking down his 1st win of 2011 was the #55 of Paul Dodorico, a great win for him and we would also crown 1st time Champ Chris Young Jr., what a great season for this young Hot Shoe. In the Late Models one of the toughest competitors all season was in for the win car #08 of J-Rod Jarrod Hayes took down his 2nd win of 2011. Then to finish the evening with his first win of 2011, the man with the, "Crew Chief of the Stars" in car #14 it would be John Beatty Jr. We would also pass the tourch that night to one of the best young drivers in all of the country. Justin Bonsignore would be crowned you 2011 NASCAR Modified Champion. Looks like a great night on tap. Remember all winners we buy dinner for. Heck we'll even throw in a meal for the Champions, so come on down, action starts at 7pm.
